Centurions AGM
26th January 2013

The  Centurions AGM took place on Saturday, 26th January 2013 at the Union Jack Club, Sandell Street, Waterloo, London SE1 8UJ

Ann Sayer MBE C599 was elected President of the Centurions after Carl Lawton C.750 stood down after 9 years of excellent service.
Ann completed the Bristol 100 in 1977 to become C.599 and our first lady Centurion. Ann has many achievements to her credit, on and off the road. She still holds the record for walking from Land's End to John O’Groats.

Kathy Crilley C933 was elected Vice-President

other posts filled are as follows:
Captain:  Sandra Brown C.735 re-elected
Hon Secretary: Chris FLint C.849 (re-elected)
Assistant Hon Secretary: Kathy Crilley C.933 (re-elected)
Hon. Treasurer:  Richard Brown C.760
Merchandise Officer:  Chris Flint C.849
Webmaster: Kathy Crilley C.933 (re-elected)
Archivist: Sue Clements C.959
Committee Members: Pam Ficken and Martin Fisher

Despite the weather... snow, rain, floods... 26 Centurions made it to the capital to take part in the 2013 AGM, and for many, an annual reunion. Sadly, many had to abandon their plans to attend.
It was a very useful meeting and this year, due to our ever expanding email database, the election of President was open to all Centurions whether they could attend in person or not. This could be the way forward for future elections - but we would also like to see you in person!!

After the completion of business, eleven Centurions stayed on for an early supper at the Union Jack Club.
So see you in 2014! - The Venue is West Midlands Police, Tally Ho, Pershore Road, Edgbaston B5 7RN

All Centurions are welcome to attend the Commiittee Meetings (next meeting 1st March)
