Centurions AGM 2014
25 January 2014
The 2014 AGM was held at the West Midlands Police Sports and Social Centre, Tally Ho!, Pershore Road, Birmingham.
What a great day out!
And it was so good to see old friends from the Midlands again. For many years, the AGM has been held in London and so at the 2013 AGm it was proposed to meet in the Midlands in order to be more accessable to all Centurions.
Of course, we recognise that not everyone can attend due to distance, family committments, etc, and so we had 62 apologies. Due to the Hon Secretary's efforts in collecting email addresses, this has meant that more Centurions than ever are becoming more engaged and are very quick to respond. So good on you!! Do remember to let the Hon. Secretary (Chris Flint) know of any change to your email address.
Minutes of the 2013 AGM - these were read and accepted by all present.
There were reports from:
The Hon Secretary, Chris Flint C.849 Read the Hon Secretary's Report
The Hon.Treasurer, Richard Brown C.760
Captain, Sandra Brown C755
Archivist, Sue Clements, C.950
Web Manager, Kathy Crilley C.933

Forthcoming Spring Social Walk, Steve Kemp
All current officers and Committee members were re-elected
As Past President, Carl Lawton was elected to the Committee. But please remember every Centurion is welcome to attend the Committee Meetings.
Tony Perkins was nominated as the new Merchandise Officer. Chris has done a great job in streamlining the processes of ordering and supplying our Centurions kit and we are all very grateful. Tony's details can be found on the Merchandise page.
