The African Centurions, South Africa
The African Centurions held their inaugral race in October 2016 on Robben Island and the covetous C1 number went to Richard Gerrard from the Isle of Man. In fact, Manx walkers feature heavily in the first 19 new African Centurions.
The 2017 race produced more African Centurions and once again first over the line was a Manx walker - Robbie Callister.
20 & 21 October 2018.
Due to stormy seas, the race organisers had to hold the race in Cape Town instead of Robben Island. A 400 metre track was used.
