Qualifier for the Paris - Alsace - Ribeauville 2018
This race forms one of the qualifier races for the 2018 Paris Alsace. There is also a 2 x 6 hours race for those who do not want to do a full blown 24 hour race.
The venue is in the historic town of Chateau Thierry and the course is in the centre of town.
Outside the Hotel de Ville 1300 (roll call at 12:45)
The course is 1500 metres until the last hour when it reduces to 0,425 km.
The course goes through the covered Palais de Sport (toilets, feeding station and chip timing with screen giving details of your distance, position, average speed.... )

Entry fees: licenced athletes -35 €; 50 € for non licencié(e)s. For overseas entrants it is possible to pay on the day (or day before) at registration when collecting numbers. Late fees: 65 licenced et 75 eurosn on licenced.
Presentation:15h30 in the Palais des Sports.
Qualifying times for awards:
130 kilomètres (W) and 160km (M) as long as you are still walking and cross the line at the 24 hour mark.
2 x 6 hour race
Same start time as the 24 hour race on Saturday.
Awards for men and women on their accumalitive distances over the two stages. Race rules are the same as the 24 hour race.
For non licenced athletes - a medical certificate is required.
