Henny van Wezel passed away on 01/12/2023. A member of s.v. de L.A.T. (the Amsterdam walking club), he completed walking 100 miles in 23.03.03 at the 1978 Leicester to Skegness 100 miles and thus qualified as Centurion 641. He also walked the Roubaix 28 hours 7 times, with a maximum distance of 210K and achieved 180K at the Rouen 24 hours race.
Henny lived in Nijmegen, where he frequently volunteered at local walks and events.
