Steve Kemp C1075, our Social Walk Secretary, organises a couple of shorter walks each year.

These walks are a great opportunity to catch up with the news, and everybody – friends and family – are welcome to join us.  If you have any ideas for future walks or are interested in leading a social walk please contact Steve.

Centurions Spring Social Walk: Brentwood, Essex

Distance 6 miles

The Centurions invite you to participate in their spring social walk around the country parks of Brentwood, Essex.

Non-Centurions, friends and family are welcome. Dogs welcome.

Route

Kim Howard C1020 will lead a 6 mile walk through a mix of woodland paths and tracks with some tarmac and open fields.

Where to meet

We will meet at The Olde Dog Inn, 129 Billericay Road, Brentwood CM13 3SD. Free parking available.

Alternatively, a lift at 10:10 am from outside Brentwood railway station (on the Elizabeth line), can be arranged by contacting Steve Kemp on 07860 617 899.

Toilets are available at The Olde Dog Inn and at country park visitor centres during the walk.

For those wishing to reduce the distance, the final section can be omitted, reducing the length of the walk to five miles.

Tables for post walk refreshments have been booked at The Olde Dog Inn, so please stay and join us for a pint, light bite or full blown meal, whichever is your preference.
