Kim Howard C1020 lead this most enjoyable social walk in Constable Country.
The 7 ¼ mile (11.5km) circular walk started from Milsoms Hotel, Denham, Colchester CO7 6HW at 10:30am. The route was mostly good paths and took in the villages of Dedham, East Bergholt and Flatford Mill and included sections of the St Edmund Way.
After the walk Centurions’ Honorary Secretary Chris Flint wrote:
“It was an excellent walk today and please pass our thanks to Kim and her fellow guides. Here’s a selection of the photos taken by me. Brian will have many more I’m sure. It’s amazing that the scene for Constable’s Haywain still remains largely the same. Good to know it’s protected by the National Trust.
